Dr Carol Brown-Leonardi, founder of the Cambridge Caribbean Cricket Academy, was amongst the 53 women picked by the English Cricket Board to commemorate England Women’s victory at the inaugural Women’s World Cup, ahead of the first ICC Women’s T20 World Cup match.
The event took place on Friday, 9 June 2026 and was an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women in cricket in general and in England in particular.
